When I read SwordBird when the young robin died.... I felt depressed

it's a book by Jane Austen. there is this girl (she is about seventeen) who is taking a walk with some of her friends on the beach, and she climbs up on a rock and calls down to one of the men who she is walking with them "catch me" and then she jumps down and she catches her. and then she climbs up again and as he is turning away she calls "catch me" but she jumps before he notices her and she falls and has a concusion
