Next Thursday not this Thursday my first hatch of BLRWs hatch then and then another hatch the following Thursday. I candled Friday, 8-12 are developing

Oh scratch that Lydia I'm blonde....scratched I would always have that little sweetheart chick out of a batch, and I would sit in my bed for hours just laying there with him, because when I would set him down he would whine a peep aand howl all night long.... So we had to endure hours of endless loney peeps because I refused to sleep with him and have that chance of smoshing him......

you know, last time we got chicks we got them from a feed store and my dad took me and my little sisters to the store and said 'ok you can each pick two' for some reason I was atracted to the fatter chicks because they where so fuzzy and cudly and roly poly. of course it was my chicken that was a rooster, I should have realized that the fat chickens where roosters but NOOOOO, next time we got chicks I chose a fat one and it was a rooster! I was devestated. (we can't keep roosters in the city)
