I had to go to bed early last night bc i have to breed my rabbits this morning

finally nice enough weather.. we use our neighbors buck, he is the one we buy all our rabbits from, and now we can finally enlarge our herd!!!

I don't want geese, we have enough wild ones around here :p I don't really need a protector I just want turkeys, I love turkeys. I hatched some last year and raised them and there was this one that I loved he loved people and dogs he would follow me and our dog around the yard. We called him Pilgrim :p But all my turkeys left. :( I want some bad. I also want some pheasants because the one male I have has gone into breeding season and he is so pretty right now. And the pheasant hens are so cute but mine ran away :(

I have failed again. Today is hatch day and absolutely nothing has happened. I don't understand. I kept the temp around 97-99 degrees F and the humidity around 50-60% and bumped it up to %70 on lock down. What could've gone wrong? 2 of the eggs are developing. What am I doing wrong? This will be another disappointing hatch day I guess :(

I'm sorry Erin. I'm not a incubating expert, and my incubator is one of those you pour water into and it will rotate the eggs itself and keep them at a steady humidity.
 
Maybe. If your going to get a big hatch I'd recommend something from RCOM. I have a 2, 3 egg holding kind. You can incubate chickens,pheasants, ducks, quail, parrots ect. in it. It's got the auto turner, and the auto humidifier. It's very cool. And it's from R-COM

Alright I'll check that out. Thanks! My dog/ and chickens broke an egg from somewhere and It was developing,veins, I didn't find a embryo though. So I'm thinking, maybe I'm doing to much to get my incubator to hatch eggs, maybe I'm trying to hard and oh you know what I mean. So I'm doing a project, I'm going to have a cardboard box or container, have heat lamp in there and keep the temperature right, I'm going to hand turn the eggs, and I wont use any water for humidity until day 18, isn't that what they call dry incubation? And I will see if it works. It's amazing how you can get an egg to hatch without you trying to and pushing yourself to, so maybe I'll try something a bit simpler than an incubator. I don't think it will work but hey, it's worth a try. I read it has to be 74 degrees F to start developing.
