Rebecca they are not dying. Like I told you, you don't have to do much if they are just scabbed, my chickens get scabs everywhere all the time. Only if it's really swollen and there limping. And your not failing, don't the negative. Have you thought about all the problems and injuries I've had? I don't like to talk about the deaths and problems with my chickens because I'm afraid people will think I'm not taking good care of them, the truth is, I am. There are tons of problems with chickens. Almost every chicken raiser will go through egg binding, bumble foot and all the common stuff.Awe (s)he's so cute. **update on my bumbledoot thing** I bandaged 2 of my chickens feet and soaked thembin same stuff. They had it on both feet so I did 4 feet and it got dark so that's all I did for now. I'm so tired of this. They have little scabs on there toes. I feel like there dying. And I'm failing as a chicken mama![]()
Well my chicken with the broken spur is kinda healing. Wrapped her leg up to but it came off and she tries to eat it....I have strange chickens. Oh and I took one of the 13 eggs in the hidden nest and cracked it and it turns out the eggs are 9-12 days in incubation. Thanks Erin. I wrapped there feet up last night and woke up and its off so much for that. I guess ill just keep doing it anyway.
