We know what Texas A&M's are and they are NOT over 16 ounces. I don't know anyone who can honestly say they have any that are even AT 16 ounces, the biggest ones I know of are 14.

ETA: A&M's are a strain of coturnix, nothing special, just 'supposed to be' bigger than most. But most people say they have A&M when they only have english whites.

In addition to this, I once had 12 jumbo brown coturnix (same size as the A&M's, just a different color) that were very big. The 12 birds were in a 2' x 4' cage and they did just fine.
