if you get an error or timeout let me know. I am just getting it going and the server it streams off of may need some settings tweaking as in max number of clients etc. or i may find with 15 users it takes too much bandwidth who knows.

Yeah, it only works on Firefox. And, the video keeps stopping, minimizing, turning white, and starting over again.

running smooth here, I tried with Firefox, Opera, Chrome. They all worked ok. Internet Explorer failed.

Firefox was best. Opera would refresh by displaying the image from top to bottom, and tended to time out before getting the last part of the picture (imagine a horizontal band missing below the lower knot of the wood on the right of the brooder box, extending across to the left of the image). Chrome left justifies the image instead of centering it on the page, but other than that it works fine.

chrome probably doesnt handle the embed well
ie wont support the streaming jpeg format and i knew it would not work
this is a crappy usb webcam $2 at thrift store and linux server running motion
basically i dont stream files to the website host but have a holder page on my host that refers to the stream

as for the refreshing i noticed after i blew the pic up bigger when multiple users are online it refreshes slow
i made it smaller so that it is less quirky on refresh

when we go to live hatch ill expand it back

making it smaller has messed up the centering but i dont intend to fix it for now cause im gonna balance the size with bandwitdh usage until i have the best picture i can stream to multiple users then i will resize the frame and correct the centering.

thanks for the feed back
