I like going on Cruises but you gotta make sure you don't pick one where there are ton's of old blue haired people, or the super young, Hey DuuuDe kids. It can be cheap, fun and great food as long as you don't get food poisoning. But other than that they are kinda cool.
No. I've never been dreaming or interested in even a Cruise trip, so a life on a boat like that is out of the question. If I was filthy rich, I'd just have a bigger place, more animals, and more plants.
Another one here who wants to buy a nice big piece of land to keep some animals, sheep, cows, pigs, chickens and ducks. And be be far away from too many people.
you can get bargains below cost on cruises by waiting until the ship is trying to fill the empty rooms and you must beable to drive there to avoid high air fare. i live within driving distance of seattle and can get last minute trips for 25% of cost some times.

Me too, but I do want to take a cruise to Alaska before I die. It's on my bucket list.

I highly recommend it. They sail out of Seattle and Vancouver. Beautiful scenery and whales. And lots of glaciers and icebergs. At one point we were brushing so many icebergs (slowly) I was worried about being on the Titanic. They have a different pilot that boards the ship to navigate around the glaciers and icebergs.
The ports of call are intersting little fishing towns if you can get past the cruise line owned souvenir shops and mingle with the locals. Hop the local trolley and see more than any of the paid tours.
