Lobster Roll recipe needed (New England style)

Ok so it looks like I will need to make french fries too right?

No truck?

Did you see the prices?

They are the reason I am in no hurry to go there.
That is just NUTS!
The silly Mex thinks it will be worth it.
To me lobster with mayo is not worth 2 dollars.
I might have paid a lot for the lobster I am going to be using for this creation but it's different/I can justify it when I am making it myself.

French fries are a good idea!

For those prices, I'd make my own too.

Ok, I did miss the prices. I thought on their website they were a food truck. Anyway, that's more than a little pricey, even in the off season. Lobster up here, in the off season, fresh, is like $6/lb I think? right now? Maybe more. I haven't looked in a while.

WHAT!? Only 6!?!
I pay triple that!

Be sure to use that lobster right away. It should be used the same day bought, IMO. The only thing that ruins the taste (and safety) of lobster is letting it sit around. It goes bad quickly. I thought the place you posted was in Maine. I went looking in Maine, and found a Houston corner! Doh!!! I know there's a Houston in Texas, but... since we were talking LOBSTER!!!!

I bought a cooked lobster at my local Hannafords a few months ago. I was not at all pleased with it. It didn't have that fresh lobster smell, but didn't smell bad, and the Tomale was all disintegrated. I told hubby that I was going to eat my lobster anyways, and that if I got deathly sick, to blame it on the lobster. Obviously, I survived, but will never buy lobster at the grocer again unless It is thrashing around in a bag when I pay for it.

Definitely! @lazy gardener I only eat lobster that was flapping that tail moments before. And that's in the restaurant. I will buy a lobster that's still flapping and dispatch it myself if I'm going to eat it at home.

Oh! @rjohns39 the lobster place near EB ... Were you thinking Abbot's? Right next to Costello's? Or right down the street...?
This is where I take people up for the first time. My MiL loved it!

Lobster stuff done and marinating in fridge. His lunch time is not for a few hours so I'll get a pic of the sandwich then.
