Chickens LOVE lobster! They get the shell bucket any time we have lobster, and everything is picked clean in no time. Some will just peck at them a little here and there after the initial excitement of a new treat, others will tear apart the bodies & work on them until there is nothing left but shell. I'm not really sure how much calcium they get - the shells stay in the run for quite a while before the disappear. They also enjoy picking clam shells clean, of course. After all, what's a lobster boil without steamed clams?
