I’ve had Cubalaya for 20+ years. When Cubalaya are bred to the breed standard they have lobster tails. Not everyone that has Cubalaya knows what a lobster tail looks like and fail to properly select and breed for it. Sumatra are not supposed to have a lobster tail. Shamo, Ko Shamo, some Asil, Brazilians and other varieties of oriental types have lobster tails, not all of them do, but some do. The biggest problem with maintaining the lobster tail is that too many people don’t realize what a true lobster tail looks like. The pullet posted has a lobster tail.
