I’m from upstate NY and most of the birds I see at the feeders are the normal song birds. A lot of crows and turkey vultures. But I did catch this guy on my trail camera. No idea what kind of owl he is. I also hear horned owls all the time.

He’s sitting on a post that’s holding up a fence surrounding my koi ponds. If my ponds weren’t netted there would be no koi left I’m sure.

I have lots and there is a bald eagle nest near by so I get to always see mom and dad raising the 3 young ones every year.

I have lots and there is a bald eagle nest near by so I get to always see mom and dad raising the 3 young ones every year.

I spotted my first ever bald eagles here this week! I guess I never looked for them before, but it is their season over here.
