I live across from a somewhat large health clinic and I have farm animals we were here before the clinic was. It was bad enough when they rebuilt the clinic and it was 3-4 times bigger with the addition of 20 foot parking lot lights that illuminate my entire yard and shine into the house at night. But now I'm picking up medical waste from the clinic that's blown into my yard from across the street. Its not just disgusting its unsafe to me but I'm afraid for my animals, it blows into their fences and they could eat it I'm worried about them getting some disease or dying from eating the trash. I don't leave any of my trash lying around personally for this reason and now I'm dealing with this crap. It was just occasionally once and a while and lately its been everyday. I don't want used gauze, and medical waste in my yard. I don't know who to call about this I think if I call the clinic they will tell me it will stop and it will continue to happen. They need to put up a fence so if their trash does blow around it stays in on their property. I don't know who to call to efficiently solve this problem, should I be photographing the medical waste and saving it trash bags outside for evidence? This is so disgusting I'm sick of putting on gloves and handling this nasty stuff.

I would start by calling your local police or sheriffs office. Bare minimum they can give you the number for the right set of code enforcers. Medical waste has so many regulations involved it isn't funny. There could be some hefty fines for the clinic depending on exactly what you are finding.

I've found long bandage gauze with blood on it, those blue paper things with blood on it, the paper that they put on the tables, random plastics and stuff, even someones x-rays one time.

Do you think I need to take photos of the stuff. I think if I call the police they are going to ask if I still have any of the trash. I don't want it around so I don't keep it so maybe taking pics of it would be good in case I need to prove this is happening.

Sounds like the clinic has a major problem with waste containment! As the others suggested I would be on the phone to the health department and anyone else who would even remotely be able to take care of it... If the lightweight waste is ending up on your property because it can be carried by the wind where is the heavy stuff or liquids going????
I would get pictures daily, make sure you have the accurate time/date stamp on your camera and if it is bloody material then it is considered a biohazard!! Don't handle any of the waste without gloves on and actually I would be making calls for someone from the medical center to be doing the clean up! Advise the local law enforcement also EVERY time it happens.

I put gloves on and use shovels and sticks to pick it up and bag it, I can't have them come get it because it can't wait when its against an animal fence or inside a pen, if they came right away and got it that would be one thing but they aren't going to send someone quickly if at all. I think its blowing out of their dumpsters but I don't think they should throw bloody stuff in a normal dumpster. And it seems like the dumpster should lock or have a fence around it that locks either way. I have told the nurses and front desk that this has happened before but its still happening and even more then before. I wanted to go over their heads but I want to call the right people and not give the clinic a heads up. They need more then a slap on the hand and they need to fix the problem not just stop it for a week and let it happen again.
