BTW, it is possible that Liv is something else other than a BSL. I found out yesterday at TSC that Hoover's sells something called an Asian Black and some of them might look similar--they struck me as kind of in between Australorp and BSL chicks in appearance.

Definitely possible! She’s from an assortment at a feed store called Rancher’s Feed and Supply. I️ don’t know what hatchery they buy from. I’ll look into it!

Hi again! All the chicks seem to be doing good. I️ have a feeling one of the EE’s is a frizzle. I️ will post a pic in a few days once she is more feathered. I️ am a bit concerned about Liv. Her feces look really strange compared to the others. It’s almost like her food isn’t digested all the way.

Hi y’all! I️ have an update on Olive! My other chicks seem to have single combs and her’s look different (there seems to be a little horn at the very top). She also seems to have some brown patterns on her feathers. I️ was wondering if Black Sex Link is still in the running.
