Local hatcheries near/in New England?

I am going to get 4 Barred Rocks and 2 Wyandottes (all pullets). I was unhappy to find that Murray McMurray has a 20 chick minimum, so I looked at Ideal Poultry. But they are in Texas, so that's a long way for our little chicks to travel, and I'd like to stay relatively local. Anybody out there had any good experience with hatcheries in the New England area?

I believe that Meyers Hatchery is in Northern Ohio. There are several small hatcheries around as well.

Check out mypetchicken.com they have a 3 chick minimum. They're in Norwalk CT - just about a 3 hr drive from Eastern Mass, too.

Hardy's up on Rt. 133 in Essex, Mass. They closed to the public for a while, I heard, but now they're open again and have a number of popular laying breeds.
