Local Organic Feed?

Hello,

Does anybody know where I can get cheap, organic feed for my 4 laying hens in the Los Angeles/Long Beach area? Perhaps there is a local farm selling directly?

'Cheap' and 'organic' are not compatible as far as feed goes, ever! And local mills may or may not produce a quality feed, because again, it's more expensive to have every batch tested, and it's most likely going to be a mash, not pelleted or crumbles.
You will need to search, call around, and visit feed stores, and any mills that are nearby, to see what's offered, and the mill date on each bag, so you only buy fresh (within one month of milling).
Now that visiting stores isn't such a good idea, you may have to just call, and see what you can discover.
