Location of coop advice

I would think the chickens would get used to road noise. I temporarily lived next door to an airport once and worried that I would never be able to sleep. I could see the jets landing not more than 100' from me. I must have gotten over it real quick because I don't remember it ever being an issue.

I felt the same way but since I never dealt with it I didn't make the suggestion

My suggestion is to look at drainage. If water stands there you will have problems. A wet coop or run is a dangerous coop or run from a disease perspective and will stink. If it drains well you will probably be OK.

<--- I missed this before I made my first post in this thread, its actually what I believe should be the first thing to consider.
