LOCK DOWN.... how to check on ducks?

I am doing my first ever egg hatch!! Yay! My 10 Rouhen duck eggs are on day 25 and I have 2 external pips. I keep wanting to check and see how things are going but my incubator doesn’t have a viewing window. What should I do?

I have the incubator running in my bathroom. Can I run a hot shower to steam up the room and then check them? Would this prevent the humidity from dropping while I check their progress?

Does anyone else have this problem?

Thanks! Would it be best not to check on them for a while? I was going to *try* to not check for 24 hours so they had a chance to complete it on their own. It’s soooooo hard not being able to watch their progress!!

3 pipped.... still no progress at all. It’s been 14+ hours since the first pip. I’m nervous that they may be stuck
