lock down last night...chicks this morning :o) (UPDATED w/ PICS)

yep, last night I put them on lockdown about 9pm. and this morning at 6am, we've already got 1 that is out

she was ready!!!!! glad I didn't forget to do lockdown last night, HA...woulda been trouble.

have 16 eggs in the bator (small hatch this time), 4 that I'm not sure are going to be anything, and 1 that just pipped and zipped

So, we shall see what we end up with. My chicks never seem to wait til day 21! They are anxious to get out into the world

Same thing for me, last night went to take the eggs out of the turner, due to hatch on saturday and one was already hatched just not out of the lower shell and 1 pipped, this morning i have 5 out and 1 pipped that i can see. 37 more to go!

I have 6 barred rocks that have pipped and zipped, 1 that is working on it.

and 3 of my RIR/Production Red that have pipped and zipped. There are 5 more eggs that have done nothing. I might attempted to help and see if they are alive come tonight.
