Lock Down Question?

When I go into lock down, do I need to take the eggs out of the turner or can I leave them in and just unplug it so it will not continue to turn? Anybody?

The main question here is clean up after the hatch , I usually move mine to a seperate hatcher to lessen the cleanup .

I take mine out. Cleanup is a good point. My turner has some tight spots where a chick could snag its foot and injure itself. I just think it is good practice to take it out.
