Day 28 and still no signs of any external pipping.


Should I be concerned now?


Current humidity is 70%


I have a feeling that the sponges I placed are starting to dry out a bit.


Should I take incubator into steamy bathroom and quickly add freshly wetted sponges now?


If so, whilst in bathroom, should I candle the egg to see if all is ok?

Just saw this this morning. Not sure when it happened. I think recently but there was a lot of condensation.

I did very quickly wipe window and place freshly wet sponges this morning whilst in a warm steamy bathroom where the temp and humidity remained the same.

If this sweet little baby hatches I will be excited to find out which type of duck he is. We have several breeds of ducks at our pond so I’m not sure.

We will definitely need help.
