I have a staggered hatch coming up. There are 2 days between hatches.

So I have a problem.

1. If I am supposed to turn my eggs (been using an auto turner) how can I do that when I am in lockdown on my first set?

2. If my eggs have a large hatch gap like 48 hours from first pip to last one out is it safe to open the incubator to remove dry chicks?

Thanks for the help everyone!

Three days till my first ever lockdown

I would remove the turner when the first set is ready for lockdown. Two days shouldn't be that bad on the second batch. Yes you can remove the dry chicks but I would have a warm bottle of water ready to mist the inside to help keep the humidity stable. Good luck.

Or I have heard that you can crank up the hot water in the shower and take them in there so you wont lose humidity if you open the bator
