I have a staggered hatch coming up. There are 2 days between hatches.

So I have a problem. [IMG]

    1. If I am supposed to turn my eggs (been using an auto turner) how can I do that when I am in lockdown on my first set? [IMG]

    2. If my eggs have a large hatch gap like 48 hours from first pip to last one out is it safe to open the incubator to remove dry chicks? [IMG]

Thanks for the help everyone! [IMG]

I would remove the turner when the first set is ready for lockdown. Two days shouldn't be that bad on the second batch. Yes you can remove the dry chicks but I would have a warm bottle of water ready to mist the inside to help keep the humidity stable. Good luck. [IMG]

Or I have heard that you can crank up the hot water in the shower and take them in there so you wont lose humidity if you open the bator
