Just wondering if anyone can confirm my thoughts - i put eggs in my incubator at 6pm on Sunday the 15th of May - so chicks should start hatching from 6pm on Sunday the 5th of June, so would that see me going into lock down as of 6pm on Thursday the 2nd of June? Next time i am going to make sure i put them in at a decent hour such as 9am so a day feels like a proper whole day instead of having to wait till the evening.

Read my post in this thread to determine how to count the days.

You put them in on Sunday May 15. THey should hatch on Sunday, June 5. I talk about that in my other post too. Lockdown should be after 18 days of development, which in your case is Thursday June 2. So you got it exactly right.

I don't worry to much about time just the day that is has to happen. I hand turn all my eggs so the morning of lockdown I just stop turning add water and go from there. BTW lock down here is tomorrow.
