We went into lockdown for my FIRST hatch and it is for 4 BR turkey eggs.

They are on day 26 (of 28). Actually 2 of the 4 are, the other 2 are a day behind. I'm new to this and when I did it (the staggered hatch) I hadn't gotten on BYC much and basically was flying blind.

I've had chickens for 5 years, but never hatched any eggs myself. Hadn't even let anyone go broody with any eggs. Just kept buying them at Murdochs!

Lockdown yesterday as well. Congrats to all of you with pips and chicks. So far nothing from mine. 12 BCMS that I couldn't look through anyway and some local misc eggs. I don't expect any early birds. Mine always keep me waiting. Last hatch for a while for me so I might as well injoy the wait. Not!

Mine started lockdown yesterday too! Ive got some easter eggers and a bunch of BBS orps in there, all are from my own pens. My son told me he heard peeping today, but he's only 4 so it could be his imagination

Danielle82 I am hoping for my easter hatch to get some easter egger babies their daddy has huge muff and beard.
Aww I bet he did hear it. I started hearing mine early too.

So far still only 1 out, and waiting on the others to pip I just added a bit more water I had a very good hatch rate
when I kept the humidity at 75%

Good luck everyone !!!

I am hatching Sebastopol geese right now, and I have been so worried, I've been staring at the incubator for the last 3 hours! And then it happened! I heard this crackling noise, then looked and saw a pip! Yay!!!!!!!!!!!
my first goose! And from eggs from my own Sebbies! Sooooooooo exciting! I didn't hatch the parents, so this is way cool!
