Lock down

Ok.. just claifing..yes you have done it already with this one or yes you have done one in prior hatches?
If you already done it on this one, check it and see if you can tell if its still moving around in there. If not, go ahead and do an emergency hole.
The chicks initial hole had actually closed backup so I was able to open a hole in the shell and it looks like it's a little shrink-wrapped in there but now it has an air hole so hopefully it will hatch on its own bc I still see blood vessels towards the top of the air hole

How many do ypu have in there now?
If you do open it, make it quick and have a steaming hot wet cloth to stick in there as soon as you open it to take the egg out to work on it. This will help the humidity to recover quickly.
28 eggs fertilized my humidity is only dropping down to 55 when I open it normally it's at 65 humidity

Ok... if the membrane looks dry you can use a q-tip and apply some coconut oil or a little Vaseline to keep it moist.
Ok chick is hatched. It didnt try to hatch on its own so I went ahead and hatch it and doing great now. Lost alittle blood but is ok. Thank you for your help.
