I have 70 ringneck pheasants eggs in my incubator right now. I have never hatched them before. Have you hatched pheasants before. I know they take longer then chicken eggs so I set them a few days prior to setting my chicken eggs so they would all hopefully hatch about the same time. I'm keeping the humidity at 50% and temp at 99.5 to 100 degrees. I did candle one of the eggs yesterday and saw some veining.
Nope. never hatched them before. they take 24 days so if you set them a few days early they should be good. i am incubating mine at the same temp. and my humidity has been about 60% because they are in my basement, but i heard the guineas need more humidity because they have harder shells, and they definitely do! UPDATE : i have had 2 guineas hatch and no external pips from the remaining 12 guineas, 24 ringnecks, or 1 turkey. i hear some chirping but im not sure which egg it is coming from.
