the smell might still b in there and in school my ag teacher would candle them on lockdown as long as the egg didnt have cracks or had the chick starting to come out on any eggs, cus if u open the incubator while the eggs cracked u can shrink wrap it and that would be bad, but the smell might just be stuck in there. if all the eggs smell fine they should be ok
