Lockdown humidity 50-55%

I would say add more once it drops below 65 so the chicks don't get shrink-wrapped by the egg membrane. Do you have a ventilation hole? You can use a straw to add water to the sponge instead of opening the incubator up again while still adding water to the sponge.
There are ventilation holes but on the brinsea mini they’re tiny and there’s no way of fitting a straw in
 
Ah I see. I'm not sure when it is critical, but I know if the humidity drops too much after they have internally pipped (beak through air cell) then they may get stuck. Its tough but your call.

I don’t think I want to risk lifting the lid and losing humidity. It’s still sitting around 65% so I think I’m going to leave it for now another chick has started pipping :)
