Lockdown humidity down to 37 while at work!!! Did I kill them????

I've heard peeps before pips, in naturally brooded eggs, and both incubated batches. Not crazy, just good ears....;~)

!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I really really want to open the incubator but am sitting on my hands as I have 7 others. It is crowded in there and very hard to take a picture but am running down with different cameras LOL to see which one takes a better pic!

My eggs were in lockdown when the hurricane came through and so helpfully knocked the power out. DH and I worked hard but the temps fluctuated all over the place as we tried to use candles and aluminum foil for heat and sponges and wash cloths for humidity. I ended up with a 50% hatch rate. Ironically the best of the two hatches I've attempted! So, moral is, don't give up!

Finally a good picture of my new baby Silkie, Is it not too cute !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
