lockdown humidity

i go into lockdown tomorrow with my very first group of eggs )))) but if the humidity gets too low during lockdown what am i supposed to do? can i open the incubator? i have a hovabator still air incubator...

Hi I don't know the answer to your question but I am glad you asked because I have the same incubator. Did you go with a fan or a hygrometer at all?

I also go into lockdown tommorrow with a Hova Bator still air with egg turner. I put a couple of drinking straws together going from the water tray and out from a vent hole I then add water from a medicine syringe like the one in this link http://www.babygifts.es/en/cp/Baby_Medicine_Syringe
Hope I made sense got the idea from a picture I saw here on BYC.

clucknpeck: i have a hydrometer but no fan... i know i can get the humidity to 65% i just dont know how to keep it there...
