Lockdown in 2 days

@scflock...love polish. Couldn't get my hands on any in the fall. So cute!

Silkies is what I have. Black, blue, white, naked necks, frizzles. All growing... And a breeding trio of EE.

Everything else is an egg...orpingtons & silkies.
I am hatching Polish, Silkie, and EE. Well and one bantam/polish and one polish/leghorn. That is awesome. I have one silkie little girl that I rescued. That was my first experience with silkies. Wow they are addictive.

Thank you Mike. Hopefully you will start to see something soon.

Hi thank you yes finally 2 of them started. I looked in and saw the water below have something. I thought how I have not opened it.i looked to the right. One of the shells ir cracked. Yay.! So what did you do as they started hatching? Do I just leave them in there?

Mike...sit on your hands. Just watch. After they hatch they have enough yolk absorbed to make it several days in the brooder...or in a shipping box.

Congrats! It can take another 24 hours for them to get out. Hopefully, yours will be sooner!

After my hatching experience over the last couple of days, I'd suggest just watching and leave them alone. I'd really try not to open your incubator until they have all hatched or until you had to.

Well I have a brooder for them and food. Just want to know if I leave them in the incubator and wait for others to hatch? I've read different things like wait because if I take one out the humidity drops and the rest could die. Some say they take them out once they are dry. How did you go about this?

Ok yea that's what I thought I had to do. Thank you. But I've heard once a day has gone by try get the ones that are hatched out, as quickly as possible. I will leave bit alone until tomorrow because tomorrow is the 21st day. But will try keep my hands until it looks like they are all done. I think 3 might not have been fertile but I left them in.
