No problem. Infertile eggs are fine if left in, as long as there is no foul odor. If they start hatching, resist the temptation to help them, or take them out too early. It's painful to watch the first time. Just leave them until they are dry. They could live for two days on the yolk they just absorbed

Almost there! With mine, the first two took forever, then the next 5 hatched within 4 hours. I was able to watch all of those. The last few surprised me the next morning. Can't wait to hear the final results!
Looking at that membrane, looks like your humidity is spot on

I have about 7 that have little pips like this green one. 4 are the same color egg and all just have this little break in the shell. Nothing further.

Did this guy hatch out..? He looks pipped lower than where your air cell may be...

Today is lockdown. I ended up with 25+- now is the hard part. I can't touch them anymore. I candled and 2 have their beaks in the aircells. So excited.

Last time I did that was day11. Is it bad if I leave any that look like they have no chick.?

I would candle them and draw the air cells in pencil. That way you know where the pips are. They should be in the air cell. The waiting is the hardest part!

Nope. But I stuck a skewer in the vent hole and moved some of the shell and opened him a small hole. I can see he is alive. But I don't want to try to help him and open the incubator and compromise the whole batch.

Yup...let him be. The very first hatch I did I had one pip outside the air cell. He chirped for 24 hours and started get weaker. I just couldn't watch any longer and did an assisted hatch over the following 12 hours. No one else hatched....I was crushed.

I have 10 eggs that have pips. Most like what the little blue egg had.

The egg behind the original blue egg just pipped and so did the egg to the left of that one. So 12 pips...but no one zipped or out.

These 4 blue eggs on the back side of the bator are pipped too.

Thank you. You just answered something for me before me asking. I kept wondering and searching what to do as soon as one hatches do I take the chickens out or wait until more hatch.
