i have 19 eggs in lockdown, all developed well and looking good, had to go out of town right after i put them in for lockdown, and came back on day 19 to severely low humidity. i got that right up there, then thru the night we lost power somewhere between 1am-6:30am, all i know is my temps got down to 78 degrees. i am so disapointed. i have the bator back on and up to the right temp, but i just have a hunch between my low humidity for a day and them getting that cold im not going to be hatching any of these eggs. i am so mad, i really wish we had a generator!!! how long would i give them before i take them out to candle or just give up? or should i just give up now..

Don't give up yet. I am very new too incubating in fact I just hatched my first round a couple days ago, but I ran into some problems similar to yours and out of only have 3 eggs to begin with one still hatched just fine. On hatch day my bator started acting up and my temps got as low as 82 and as high as 104 over an entire day. The humidity I'm not even sure about b/c my humidity therm. pooped out on me. I think there is still hope though. If by day 23 or 24 there is no action candle them and see. That's just my opinion as I have very little experience with this. Good Luck!! I hope you hatch out lots of little fluffy butts!!
