Hello, I may not be able to access my eggs or incubator to put them in lockdown for reasons out of my control. Here is the info.
Day 18 begins on Sat at 2:00pm
I can put them into lockdown on Fri (beginning of Day 17) at 4:00pm.
I won’t have access to anything until Monday (end of day 19) at 8:00am.

Suggestions on how to handle this? Temp, humidity, turner, etc.

Thank you very much!

Take the turner out and lay the eggs at the bottom of the incubator, leave a dish with about 1 and 1/2 cups of water, and if you have a temp reader or temp gun, test it to make sure it's right before you lock down... You and the babies should be fine then! Don't open the incubator in lock down so you don't harm the pipping, untouched eggs, or hatching babies! :wee

Thank you! I was totally worried I would mess up the end! When you say leave a dish of water, you mean inside the incubator? I have an NR 360 so there is a second vent plug I can pull & add water to!

Just to be clear, I can lockdown everything on Day 17 with no problem? I won’t be in the same building on Day 18.
You can lockdown on day 17 and it will be no problem. You won't be there to add water so you will need a dish of water in addition to topping off all of your water reservoirs on your incubator. I put a natural sponge or a washcloth into the dish of water to help with humidity.

I put eggs in the incubator on 3/16 and I have eggs coming on the 3/20 they are shipped eggs so probably won't go in untill early morning of 3/21, It's a 5 day difference is that to big of a difference or will they be fine? I can't afford to purchase a new incubator, I have a farms innovations incubator with an auto egg turner, I have hatched with the egg turner in before but these are dwarf calico Perkins and Seremas I'm afraid they will get stuck under egg turner I'm out of all ideas!!

It's not good to put eggs together that are set on different days, but it shouldn't be too bad.
