Right guys I've opened him up abit more where i thought he'd piped put abit of coconut oil on membrane he's pushing where the hole is but the membran is very close to the shell wheres he seems to be pushing but looks through into aircell on pics looks to be hardly any room when opened and looks like there is on candeling (attached pics) and no sign of a beak anywhere else in the air sack but where I've put the coconut oil you can see the hairy fluff so not his beak.do I leave him alone or open further to try figure out where hes laid he's back I incubator keeping warm does he just need longer I feel he's definatly not in the right position now

There's some very thin blood vessels but I only made the hole a tiny bit bigger so I could shine the torch in a little the air cell is very shallow along the edge so hard to see much

Update I stayed up as one was zipping the other 2 still not piped but going strong so was giving them a little longer as still visible veins, I fell asleep at 4 am just woke up 6am and checked and one of the non pipped ones had moved and covered its safety hole and died I feel so guilty if I'd have opened its hole a tiny bit more it would have been fine 😪
The side air cell is still moving but no progress at all I'm thinking I need to open it up further try find his beak but upon finding the other I've opened up the other 2s air sack more to there beaks and then still alot of veins so they're defo not ready to be helped any further but they definatly can't cover the hole now 😢😢xx

Looking at the malpositioned one compared to the one that's passed I'm sure it's positioned just off of the air cell at the bigger end so will have to straight externally pip but there's no bruising to help be certain it's definatly still trying though

I’m so sorry about the one that covered it’s hole. That can happen to ducklings that externally pip too😢 Try not to feel too bad.

Can you post pictures of the eggs that you opened? Did you moisten their membranes? Can you see the bill at all on the malpositioned one?

Oops, I see that you said you were going to try to open up the malpositioned one to try to find it’s beak. I missed that. I think that’s a good idea. Just stay in the aircell and go slow you should be ok
