Hi guys,

I've recently put my eggs into lockdown (stopped turning them and whacked the humidity up to 60)
however, I did this on day 16 as I read somewhere that bantams can hatch on day 18....basically today is day 18 and I don't think they are going to hatch, after reading multiple different forums. Will this affect them hatching on day 21??

There are two things associated with lockdown, humidity and turning.
It doesn't hurt to stop turning at day 16. The amniotic membrane is well developed by now.
It doesn't hurt to raise humidity early as long as they have lost sufficient weight. Have you candled to assess the air cell?

Yes I have done, the air cell is very clear and looks good as far as I am aware. I will have another little google and see if they look similar. Thanks for the reply !
