Lockdown?????

My eggs are due to hatch on Monday the 29th, do I lockdown on Friday or Saturday? And, I have the automatic egg turner do I need to take it out or just turn it off? Thanks!

Hello!

I lockdown at the end of day 18. I always start my eggs early in the morning, so that morning counts as day one.....then I count to day 18, and just before I go to bed (because I work in the mornings), I start lockdown.

Seems to work well for me.

You can just turn it off but then you have to clean it after so most take it out an some replace it with a egg flat.
