I have 20 quail I will be putting in lock down in 10 days and another 12 a week later. I have them I a little giant with fan and turner. I also have a still air little giant I was planning on moving them to the still air for lock down its a lot easier to get humidity up in it without a fan but will it cause any issues moving them to a still air to hatch after incubating in one with a fan. This is my fist hatch and don't want to make a rookie mistake.

When I was using LG incubators, that's how I did it. Worked ok although I never really got good hatch rates with LG.

What are you using now

The Genesis Hovabator Model 1588. Hatch rates are much improved and temps and humidity stays perfect. I'll be getting a GQF Sportster when I can, but these do well for now. I have two with auto-turning trays and one without for lockdown.
