Lockdown

I set 5 duck eggs that are set to hatch on april 18. I was wondering when lockdown is. I know it is on day 25. Is day 25 the last day i turn the eggs or is that day 24. Please help

Lockdown is usually on day 26th of incubation. On this day you remove or turn off any auto-turning feature and bump up the humidity. So, if your eggs are due to hatch on the 18th then you will turn you eggs for the last time on the night of the 15th. Make sure your last turn positions the eggs for the most likely hatching position (with the lowest dip of the air cell up). But this also depends on the breed of duck you are incubating.
