Locked Down, And Ready For Some Babies!!!

Ok, well, got my 36 coturnix eggs on lockdown as of 20 minutes ago......Keeping fingers crossed. Will post pics when we have babies.

Got your brooder ready and their food at hand, you could wake up to babies. Well my 1st early hatches were about 24 hours after locking down.

Hope you get a great hatch, we have some that stop turning on Sunday I think. I love the way they hatch like popcorn popping

33 out of the 34 eggs incubated hatched on June 22nd. I'm a happy mama.

Awe! What kind of quail are they?

Coturnix. I bought a dozen at a rummage sale back in September. Ended up with 3 roos and 9 hens. My very first experience with quails EVER.

Anyway, thought I'd try and hatch some.....it worked. I'm hooked
