Awoke this morning to the sounds of baby chickies!

Of the cochins, 3 hatched, 2 pipped, 1 left
Sizzle eggs and mutt eggs showing nothing yet.

BUT today is only day 20!

A sizzle has pipped!

3 cochins hatched, 2 zipping, 1 to go.

1 sizzle pipped, 2 to go.

2 mutts to go.

Another update....5 white cochins have hatched and the last egg has pipped.

Of the 3 sizzles, still 1 pipped and the other 2 are still sleeping.

Yesterday was the actual hatch day for the 2 mutt eggs, and they still haven't pipped so I'm pretty certain that they're not going to hatch.

Holy Moly! My frst single one that hatched is Frizzled!!!!! The daddys name is Uno, he was the only hatch on 4 eggs I kept after selling the parents, Uno's Wife's name is Puff (she is a frizzle) so it seemed only natural that I named the first chick , "Ditto"

So none of the Phoenix worked? Darn! I hope the mutts hatch who knows what they might be.

I still have some hope for these last 2 mutts...even though yesterday was their expected hatch date. All the cochin and sizzle eggs weren't due to hatch until tomorrow, but they've hatched early. Keep your fingers crossed for them!

I wouldn't worry too much about them being early. For some reason Bantams at least In my experience, are usually a little earlier.
