Log Chicken Coop in Ridgeway, SC

Here's our Log Chicken Coop. I think we may have the only one there is. We live in a log home on 9.25 acres of woods and wanted a coop to compliment our home, so we built a log coop with log run from our own logs based on design ideas from BYC members pages. Very cool!!!! I love the log cabin idea and really enjoyed seeing the phases of construction as I am not familiar with how to construct a log structure. Nice job.

We also got our chicks from Kathy at Circle T in Blythe...very close to us since we live in Augusta.

A question....are you concerned that the poultry wire may not hold against the predators you mentioned in your region?
