No it's not bird flu she's always had these symptoms but they have cleared up

Bird flu shares some symptoms with other diseases (coryza for example). I don't think you can rule out bird flu without lab testing. Can't say for sure that it is bird flu without testing either, but it can't hurt to treat it like bird flu and take all of the proper precautions.

That being said, coryza can cause discharge and difficulty breathing like you're describing. Have you looked into that?
