Lone hen help

Thanks cmom, that's all quite reassuring for me! I have actually just ordered a new coop, as my current one is starting to feel it's age. Once that has arrived I'll put it in the same pen, so at least she can be outside again!
I think the new girls appreciate the time without her near as you say, I try to encourage her to go up to the pen to see them but most of the time she is in the hedge. It's supposed to warm up a lot in a couple of days so hopefully that will help to.

New coop could be a great time to try integrating, as the coop will be neutral ground, and the birds will be more distracted by exploring the new structure than picking on one another.
