I needed to remove one of my females from the pen due to her fighting and picking on the others. She is by herself in a separate pen and I know that they are best in a colony. I don't know what to do so she is not by herself. She is really aggressive. Any suggestions?

Oh no! Sometimes females can be vicious. Maybe she wants her own man

I would separate her from the others but keep her near. She may over come the hormonal stage.

I may have to do that with Cricket, my English White. She has lost her fluffy little mind lately.

Maybe she needs a male she can hen peck?? LOL sorry I have a male who was picked on by most of the covey so he is now all alone in a pen. Maybe we can do an arranged marriage or "get together"

I have one like this. I trimmes it's beak flat, and cut its toe nails. She is still mean, but atleast my other hens aren't bald anymore.
