lonely and scared fledgling

I had three babies for about 4-5 weeks and just yesterday we lost two. It completely shattered my heart since I became so attached. Now our one surviving chick/fledgling is so lonely she cheeps every time she can't see a person around her. She slept on my chest and shoulder while I was petting her.

How do I help my scared little one??

Also she spent a lot of today picking at the end of her feathers (close to her skin) and she left almost this dust of this plastic looking stuff.

What happened to the other two? Until you can find her a friend(chickens are very social creatures)try giving her a stuffed animal,make sure she cannot pull out any stuffing or buttons(think baby proof)and spend as much time with her as you can. For feather picking,is there any issue with her vent area? Is she eating properly? Chickens do get depressed and feel grief when their hatch mates/friend is gone. She will perk up,just give her time.

They got out from there gated day time area and one of our dogs got them :/ one died about an hour or two later and the other one i found on the couch this morning.

She sleeps in the office with a box, hay, blanket and now a hand towel since I thought she would want to cuddle with something. I thought her pecking might be some sort of feather molting thing since she still has a little of her fluff underneath some of her big girl feathers.

All three girls were very close, they appeared to be the best of friends (I called them sisters) so I wouldn't be surprised if my survivor is depressed

So very sad. I personally have never noticed feather picking in my girls/boys during a molt,that is not to say that it cannot happen. Could also be a result of the stress she feels,just make sure she isn't pecking/picking at her skin or vent area.

I have no clue what she could be doing. I don't know very much about chickens, I know they need love and food and water. Everything else I'm slowly learning. So her pecking behavior is just as confusing to me lol
