so I had two 2wk old baby chicks and today they escaped from their Road I managed to get 1 back but he seems quite distressed and making the different chirping sounds I've never heard from either of them before like a telephone ringing almost, and seems very exhausted now that I've finally managed to relax him he's been sleeping for about 3 hours now non-stop and doesn't seem easy to wake like usual, pls can someone give me ideas what to do to help him feel comfortable agen, happy an all that good stuff. I was most definitely thinking of getting another little baby chick because I pick up that he's very sad on the loss of his sibling.

Definitely source out another chick close to the same age.
In the meantime, put a mirror and a small fluffy stuffed animal into the brooder with it.
Can you post pictures of your brooder? It should still be active. Is it the right temperature in the brooder for it? What feed are you offering it?
