That's a lovely little chick.

I have a month old singleton who pretty well comes everywhere with me....on my shoulder...parrot-like. I'm a bit tired of disinfecting and wiping up., but the bond is lovely.

Sometimes you don't have the choice, but a chicken momma is SO much easier (or a toy!)

Good news, today the last 7 eggs I put in a week after the first have started hatching today. My Lonely Chick is going to have a few friends after all. One has already hatched, one is in the process. They are Sebrights also, but from two different breeders. Pictures to follow.
