Unfortunately, I have a little kiddo that has ended up being the only member of her batch to hatch. I have a group of 11 & 14 day olds in a brooder that have already started tusselling so she can't go with them. I have a hen as well with a brood of two 8 day olds. She's already started leaving them a bit so I'm thinking the new kid probably shouldn't go with them either. Any thoughts?
Thanks!

We've had this happen before. I went to a store a bought a friend so it wouldn't be lonely....or did I buy 4 friends?

Snuck it under mamas belly and wa-lah! Or you could give it to someone who has day old chicks

I've seen people raise lone chicks with a feather duster and mirror as friends. But I agree with sugarjax on getting more day olds from the store.
