Lonely chicken

She's definitely broody lol I put some unfertilised eggs under her and she tucked them underneath her straight away. I've arranged to swap the chickies for some fertilised eggs. Last time only one out of six hatched so hopefully this time more will (and there will be some girls!).

ahh, what a shame that you've had to swap the babies. though I would suggest 10 eggs and or a mix of breeds just because only 6 or so will be likely to be fertile
